Who We Are

Our website address is: https://testus.in

Comments

When visitors leave comments on our site, we collect the data shown in the comments form, including the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string, to help with spam detection.

We use the Gravatar service to display profile pictures associated with visitor’s email addresses. An anonymized string created from the visitor’s email address may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if the visitor is using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy can be found here: https://automattic.com/privacy/

Media

We recommend that visitors avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) to our site. Visitors to the site can download and extract any location data from images on the site.

Cookies

When visitors leave comments on our site, they may opt-in to saving their name, email address, and website in cookies. These are for the visitor’s convenience so that they don’t have to fill in their details again when leaving another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

We use temporary cookies to determine if a visitor’s browser accepts cookies when they visit our login page. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when the visitor closes their browser.

When visitors log in, we set up several cookies to save their login information and screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days and screen options cookies last for one year. If the visitor selects “Remember Me”, their login will persist for two weeks. If they log out of their account, the login cookies will be removed.

If a visitor edits or publishes an article, an additional cookie will be saved in their browser. This cookie includes no personal data and simply indicates the post ID of the article they just edited. It expires after one day.

Embedded Content from Other Websites

Our site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.) from other websites. This embedded content behaves in the same way as if the visitor had visited the other website.

These websites may collect data about the visitor, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor their interaction with the embedded content, including tracking their interaction with the embedded content if they have an account and are logged in to that website.

Sharing of Data

Visitor’s IP address will be included in the password reset email if they request a password reset.

Retention of Data

If a visitor leaves a comment, the comment and its metadata will be retained indefinitely. This allows us to recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For visitors who register on our site (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time, except they cannot change their username. Website administrators can also see and edit this information.

Rights Over Data

Visitors who have an account on our site or have left comments can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about them, including any data they have provided to us. They can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about them. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

Data Transfer

Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.
